S. P. obtained his PhD in chemistry in 2014 (ENS Lyon), developing NIR polymethine dyes for applications in the field of nonlinear optics (defense, imaging, organic electronics). After two years at the University of Geneva, working on the synthesis of cationic helicene dyes and the study of their (chir)optical properties, he was appointed Chargé de Recherche CNRS in the chemistry department at CINaM (Dec. 2016). Dr. Pascal is specialized in the synthesis of charged NIR chromophores and possesses a wide expertise in their applications as materials for emerging technologies. He is the author of more than 40 publications at the frontier between organic chemistry, spectroscopy and biology.
