Salan\u00e7on<\/a><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ionisation de champ est le processus qui d\u00e9crit l\u2019ionisation des atomes d\u2019une phase gazeuse lorsqu\u2019ils sont soumis \u00e0 un champ \u00e9lectrique intense pr\u00e8s d\u2019une surface \u00ab acceptrice \u00bb d\u2019\u00e9lectrons. Par exemple, le microscope ionique de champ permet de visualiser les atomes de la surface d\u2019une pointe m\u00e9tallique polaris\u00e9e positivement face \u00e0 un extracteur. Le gaz \u00ab image \u00bb est ionis\u00e9 l\u00e0 o\u00f9 le champ est le plus fort, c\u2019est \u00e0 dire au niveau des atomes protub\u00e9rants de la pointe m\u00e9tallique.<\/p>\n<p>Ce processus peut \u00eatre employ\u00e9 en tant que source d\u2019ions : c\u2019est celui qui est utilis\u00e9 dans le microscope \u00e0 H\u00e9lium. Les ions sont produits au niveau du trim\u00e8re d\u2019une pointe de tungst\u00e8ne orient\u00e9e (111).
