Inauguration of the Marseille component of the Pertinence project

The inauguration of the Marseille component of the Pertinence major scientific facilities project – Development of technology centres in the southern Provence region – took place on the Saint-Jérôme campus in Marseille on 9 February 2026. Stemming from the 2021-2027 contract for the future, the Pertinence project aims to equip the technology platforms of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region with micro- and nanofabrication equipment. Within this framework, the CINaM’s PLANETE platform has received funding for a ThermoFisher HELIOS 5 UC FIB-SEM (Focused Ion Beam – Scanning Electron Microscope) system.
