The Secure Communicating Solutions (SCS) pole rewards Aix-Marseille-University / CNRS for its printable solar cells

The SCS competitiveness cluster, specialist in digital and cybersecurity, awarded its 2019 Trophies in December 2019. Among the winners in the applied research category, the FUN-PV team (a joint research team between the FUnctionnal Nanomaterials team (FUN) from the CINaM laboratory and the Light Ultimate MatErials Nanodevices and PV team (LUMEN-PV) from the IM2NP laboratory) was rewarded for its works carried out in collaboration with the deep tech start-up Dracula Technologies. Work focused on the development of a process for printing organic solar cells for the Internet of Things (IoT), operating both indoor and outdoor. The team has filed two patents, valued by the start-up. It also plans to create a start-up in 2020 to enhance its work on colored organic solar cells.
